Paula Patton has a distinguished professional career in the field of acting as well as a producer and director. Her most prominent work is for her starring role in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her early years were lived at Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. Her mom was obsessed with films and instilled a love of films into the girl. Paula took part in the co-curricular programs at her school and loved drama. Her classmates and she played together and took part in the school's productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to act throughout her schooling and she decided to pursue acting for a profession. She went to in the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by the experience. She won a three-month assignment creating documentaries for PBS. Her first job was as an assistant to production for TV documentaries following her successful completion of the project. Following the completion of her project and completing her documentary, she began producing films. Even though she loved the work she was doing but she was always wishing for the role of an actress. The path to acting began when she had a minor role alongside Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then she's appeared in numerous movies and shows.
